Weapons of Mass Destruction on the other hand are a tad more pulverizing and destroyed. On this self-titled CD-R, these folks play a warped noise/free punk/rockabilly concoction that hits the skull like a bucket of bricks on opener "Here We are Over There" with big punishing percussion and strangled guitar wankery that somehow sounds genius, even though all logic suggests otherwise. Just have to hear it I suppose. Where most free ensembles prefer to keep it organic and somewhat refined these days, Weapons are willing to sound like their name and punk-rock like a more jagged Troggs one minute, while focusing on mellower nuclear chain reactions the next and even exploring realms not too far from your Mogwai types at others. Fans of lo-fi psychedelic dream wars, make note. - Broken Face
